We did not invent anything new. All the “innovative” buzz is not about Funguyz. We just connect the dots: something that was always there and those who never knew it was.
Psilocybin has been around for eons. It’s natural, as in “created by nature itself”. It had always had the power to steer minds in the desired direction, in the correct way:
- Natural — instead of synthetic, artificial, lab-made, for-profit big business creations
- Proven to work — by BOTH centuries of spiritual use and modern peer-reviewed studies
- Functional — for focus, creativity, clearing up brain fog and breaking through the harmful routines.
We know that shamans of the 21st century don’t have a full evening for a ceremony. But we know they don’t need to talk to the Universe as well: just solve the mental health problems, no other ways help to solve and expand their thought process.
Funguyz Community
The community of Canadian mushroom growers blends hard science with hobby and business. Honestly, we don’t know where the line is anymore: is it about just psilocybin content or about people?
We’ve introduced thousands of people to psychedelics, and broken the stigma in a thousand spots.

Is it the Time to End the Mental Health Crisis in Canada?

It’s Definitely the Time for a Major Change
The stigma is strong, but Funguyz are not here to skip boss fights.
Especially when the arena is the legal field, and the prize is the change for the better for all Canadians. We at Funguyz believe that:
- Current psilocybin laws are contrary to freedom of thought under section 2(b) of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
- Psilocybin IS a freedom of thought tool.
- Submitting to constraints on one’s Freedom of Thoughts is NOT the way to go.
It’s a constitutional challenge. But when we see injustice, we take on it. The redundant limitations and stigma are the products of the past. We’ve come a long way since those times, and Canada of today is in desperate need of change in these laws.
